Scabal: Engelse stoffen voor het laten maken van een pak, colbert en broek.
Scabal has provided the finest tailoring fabrics to tailors and garment makers internationally. Scabal’s cloth is woven from the finest materials at its heritage mill in England.
Scabal’s heritage English mill located in Huddersfield, the home of traditional English cloth making, has existed since the 16th century. A large majority of our collections are still woven here. As with many Yorkshire mills, the area’s soft water gives the cloths a recognizable fine finish
Scabal has a long history with superfine wool. At the company’s heritage English mill in Yorkshire, its team of designers and master weavers were the first to cross the historic Super 120’s barrier.
This historic measure of a the thickness of single fibres within woven wool cloth stood for nearly 100 years, before Scabal evolved the world’s understanding of how fine a luxury tailoring cloth could be.
The first Super 120’s wool was a watershed for the entire tailoring industry and stands as one of Scabal’s crowning achievements, but the company refused to rest there.
Spring Summer Collection 2018
As seasons, spring and summer bring with them all manner of pairings, both traditional and unexpected. Scabal’s new-season showings are no different. Whether it’s mixing mohair and wool with a Caribbean twist, redefining denim with world-beating cotton blends, or fashioning cashmere into a summer staple, innovation abounds. In more subtle ways, too: enhancing crease-resistance; increasing breathability; intricate stitching... Elsewhere, new life is breathed into old classics with shifting colour palettes, dashing design details and modish modifications to complete a stand-out season of Scabal creations.
For when a gentleman needs to hit the sartorial high notes, the Concerto collection makes for well-composed statement pieces that let their most striking elements sing.
